World Horror Convention 2011 Austin Success! (More)
This was a big weekend at the end of April with crowds of industry professionals sharing and enjoying a well-organized agenda. Cutting Block Press threw the anchor party on Saturday night as a pre-launch for Tattered Souls 2, our newest long fiction anthology collected and edited by Frank J. Hutton. Publisher Boyd E. Harris, Editor R.J. Cavender, our Consummate Layout and Design specialist Bailey Hunter, and hordes of talented +Horror Library+ authors were on hand to make sure the bottomless margarita machine, two kegs of beer, 10 bottles of Dripping Springs Vodka and 50 pizzas from Austin's Pizza (thank you to Dripping Springs execs and to Austin's Pizza management for their help making this party a huge hit).
Cutting Block Press also published the WHC11 Souvenir Book, and we are pretty darn proud of the final product.
The convention itself co-chaired by Lee Thomas and Nate Southward went off very well, and Cutting Block Press thanks them for allowing Boyd to publish the souvenir book and to run the weekend's various launch parties. (Less)
